I. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER – APPROVAL OF MINUTES
JOHN opened the meeting AND IN ATTENDANCE Were BENCHMARK MARINE,
INTERSHIP, and world shipping – CHICAGO, CLEVELAND and DETROIT. THE DECEMber MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
II. FINANCIAL REPORT
OUR BANK BALANCE AS OF DECEMBER 2, 2025 WAS $645,671.53. our ship calls are to date 713 which INCLUDES 347 cruise ships. We are in the black for the year by approximately $108,000.
ian reported that our ship calls were up by 20% due to cruises calls being up by 66% from last year. treasurer’s report was approved as presented.
III. PRESIDENT’S remarks
no report presented.
IV. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S report
john is working on our annual meeting in cleveland which will be the 6th and 7th of april. he has been in touch with the hilton and the marble room where we have been before.
the website is just about ready to be put up. he has talked to john d about the change over.
john is waiting to hear from the coast guard about when the glpac meeting will be. it was scheduled for the first week of february but no confirmation as yet.
V. old business
ian is working on the scholarship for this year but nothing definte as yet.
VI. new business
NO DISCUSSION
nEXT MEETING WILL be WEDNESDAY, february 4th AT OUR USUAL TIME unless the glpac meeting interferes with this date. john will keep us informed.
